Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to understand and speak some English
- Ability to work standing and walking for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, reaching above shoulders, and climbing ladders
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures
- Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- General knowledge of operating equipment such as vacuums, washers and dryers
- Ability to understand and communicate in English
- Ability to prioritize work assignments
- Demonstrated genuine care for customers and employees
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, fresh linens and guest supplies
- Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and removing linen and trash
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and other guest amenities as needed
- Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and meeting rooms
- Ensure all hotel property is in working order and report issues to management
- Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner
- Turn in and log all guest property left in room or public spaces
- Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and daily tasks
- Perform deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses and moving furniture
- Perform guest turn down service as needed
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Complete assigned rooms and tasks within allotted minutes per room
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
