Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and speak some English
  • Ability to work standing and walking for entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, reaching above shoulders, and climbing ladders
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures
  • Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • General knowledge of operating equipment such as vacuums, washers and dryers
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments
  • Demonstrated genuine care for customers and employees
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, fresh linens and guest supplies
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and removing linen and trash
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and other guest amenities as needed
  • Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and meeting rooms
  • Ensure all hotel property is in working order and report issues to management
  • Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner
  • Turn in and log all guest property left in room or public spaces
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and daily tasks
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses and moving furniture
  • Perform guest turn down service as needed
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Complete assigned rooms and tasks within allotted minutes per room
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
