Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Capacity to perform physical tasks such as sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Willingness to work indoors on varied surfaces and occasionally in extreme weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training, or experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and customer service
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and maintain supply readiness
- Excellent communication skills to report issues and coordinate with supervisors
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing surrounding trash
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company cleanliness standards, even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public, and service areas for quality and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
