Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks such as sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work indoors on varied surfaces and occasionally in extreme weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training, or experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and customer service
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and maintain supply readiness
  • Excellent communication skills to report issues and coordinate with supervisors

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing surrounding trash
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company cleanliness standards, even if not assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public, and service areas for quality and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
