Job Requirements
- Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Ability to perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to maintain organized work areas and carts
- Ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Completion of high school education or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience
- Hospital experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting agents with dwell times preferred
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to keep all equipment in good working condition
- Ability to perform periodic duties such as stocking linen carts and taking out trash carts
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, isolation rooms, offices, restrooms, and other assigned areas
- Unload linen carts and keep linen room organized
- Stock linen carts in assigned areas
- Maintain equipment and cleaning tools in good working condition
- Follow established cleaning methods and protocols including use of disinfectants with dwell times
- Perform isolation room terminal cleaning
- Keep carts and work areas organized and sanitary
