Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time with flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience, including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Any other combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by either vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, and windows
- Remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards, even if not assigned to a specific area
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
