Job Requirements

  • minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
  • any combination of education training or experience providing required knowledge skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing removing trash from guest rooms dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
  • maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors air conditioning grills doors windows and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • visually inspect guest rooms public and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
