Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Willingness to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, including areas not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
