Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outdoor areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, including areas not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
