Job Requirements
- minimum one year housekeeping experience
- good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- ability to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces
- ability to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- high school diploma or equivalent education
- any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- clean floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove all trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards regardless of assignment
- visually inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation
- notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
