Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Ability to visually inspect and maintain cleanliness standards
- Availability to work flexible schedules including eight-hour shifts
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to understand and apply company cleanliness standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to report issues and interact with guests
- Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
