Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to perform physical activities including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Ability to visually inspect and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including eight-hour shifts
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to understand and apply company cleanliness standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills to report issues and interact with guests
  • Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing trash
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
