Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- willingness to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
- tolerance for exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- high school diploma or equivalent
- any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- remove all trash from guest rooms
- dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not assigned
- visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
