Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work both indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath/kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting/polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing outside trash
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
  • Report safety or security policy violations and guest concerns to supervisor immediately
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
