Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Willingness to work both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to follow safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath/kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting/polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing outside trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- Report safety or security policy violations and guest concerns to supervisor immediately
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
