Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays and overtime if needed
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, talk, and hear
  • Able to walk and remain standing for 8 to 10 hours with breaks
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance
  • Able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust
  • Able to work at a fast pace in mentally and physically stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a casino cleaner or housekeeper
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Working quickly without compromising quality
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Hard working, detailed-oriented, and reliable

Job Duties

  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash cans, dusting and polishing
  • Ensuring all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards
  • Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
  • Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
  • Be mindful of putting wet floor signs out when mopping
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
  • Check stocking levels of all supplies and replace when appropriate
  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
