Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job
- Knowledge of cleaning and laundry standards
- Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows and removing outside trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
