Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Good vision capabilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
- Ability to inspect and maintain cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Other combinations of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assigned area
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations, as well as any guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
