Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedules
  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Good vision capabilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Commitment to superior customer service
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
  • Ability to inspect and maintain cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Other combinations of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assigned area
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations, as well as any guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
