Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping/laundry procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath/kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, windows, and removing trash
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
