Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove trash from guest rooms and outside areas
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, and windows
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not assigned directly
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public, and service areas for quality of cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
