Job Requirements
- completion of high school education or equivalent preferred
- minimum two years housekeeping experience
- preference for hospital or healthcare environment experience
- ability to perform cleaning duties including disinfection
- physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- ability to follow instructions and established cleaning protocols
- ability to maintain equipment and stocking duties
- willingness to accept periodic or situational tasks assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum two years housekeeping experience
- hospital experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting agents and their dwell times
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms
- unload and restock linen carts
- maintain organization of linen rooms
- conduct terminal cleaning of isolation rooms
- stock cleaning supplies and linen carts
- follow established cleaning methods and infection control protocols
- keep equipment in good working condition
