Job Requirements

Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to lift and move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed
Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts
Willingness to work indoors and exposure to extreme weather conditions
Strong communication skills to notify supervisors of safety or guest concerns

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
Immediately notify supervisor of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked by restocking housekeeping cart
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
