Job Requirements

Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and balancing
Required vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Ability to maintain superior customer service and communicate effectively

Job Qualifications

Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
Ability to provide required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training or experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet cleanliness standards
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
