Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furniture
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, doors, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
