Job Requirements

Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand for 8 hours
Ability to perform physical tasks such as sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furniture
Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, doors, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
