Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash, dusting and polishing furniture
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, doors, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
