Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- Education equivalent to high school diploma
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Ability to visually inspect environments for cleanliness and safety
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove trash from guest rooms and surrounding outside areas
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, and windows
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
