Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • Education equivalent to high school diploma
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Ability to visually inspect environments for cleanliness and safety

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove trash from guest rooms and surrounding outside areas
  • Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, doors, and windows
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
