Job Requirements

At least one year of relevant housekeeping experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
Ability to work indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather conditions
Capability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and tools effectively
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of specific assignment
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
