Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Availability to work flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, and dusting or polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
