Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Availability to work flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, and dusting or polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
