Job Requirements

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Availability to work flexible schedules

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required skills and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, and dusting or polishing all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, air conditioning grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
