Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
- Ability to perform duties requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
