Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to perform duties requiring close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules
  • Ability to follow safety and security protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
