Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and transport items up to 55 pounds independently
  • Ability to lift items over 55 pounds with assistance
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, and move frequently during shifts
  • Ability to handle and maneuver cleaning equipment

  • Completion of safety training and certifications

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related hospitality roles preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel safety standards
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Respond quickly and efficiently to guest and department requests
  • Identify and report maintenance or preventive issues in public areas and guest rooms
  • Place safety signs as required
  • Coordinate with other departments for urgent repairs
  • Arrange furniture in guest rooms as requested
  • Remove items such as trash, trays, newspapers, and dirty linens from hallways to service areas
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment properly
