Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including full and part-time positions
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow company protocols for cleanliness and safety
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills to report issues and interact politely with guests
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards regardless of assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for quality of cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations as well as guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
