Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and guests
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of standard operating procedures and cleaning techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
