Job Requirements

Minimum one year housekeeping experience
Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
Willingness to work flexible schedules
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and guests

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of standard operating procedures and cleaning techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
Ability to perform physical tasks required by the role
Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
Capability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas, clean all floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
