Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in housekeeping
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Capacity to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even areas not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality and cleanliness
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
