Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in housekeeping
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Capacity to perform physical activities such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash, and dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even areas not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality and cleanliness
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety, security violations, or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
