Job Requirements
- HS diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Knowledge of maintaining a sterile environment including proper cleaning procedures and equipment
- Ability to interpret data and instructions in various forms
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to operate basic environmental service equipment
- Ability to prioritize assignments and work within policies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of sterile environment maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Ability to operate environmental service equipment such as floor cleaners, buffers, and vacuums

- Problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate and resolve issues
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned areas including patient rooms, offices, and hallways
- Perform equipment handling and transport duties
- Set up rooms as needed for medical procedures or patient care
- Remove trash and manage linen supplies
- Distribute supplies to departments and maintain stock levels
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and hospital staff
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and hospital policies regarding cleaning and sanitization
