Job Requirements

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Capability to stand for eight-hour shifts
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Availability to work flexible schedules including full-time and part-time positions

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience, including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent
Any combination of education, training, or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
