Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Capability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including full-time and part-time positions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience, including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
