Job Requirements

  • minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • ability to work flexible schedules
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • experience working in diverse and inclusive teams

Job Duties

  • maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grill, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and any guest concerns
  • operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
