Job Requirements

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
Knowledge of standard housekeeping and laundry procedures
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Adequate vision including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow safety protocols and report concerns immediately

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent education
Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
Remove all trash from guest rooms
Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security issues and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
