Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of standard housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
  • Adequate vision including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and report concerns immediately

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms
  • Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security issues and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Provide superior customer service when interacting with guests
