Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping/laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to lift and/or move regularly up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Capacity to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Willingness to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Adaptability to exposure to extreme weather conditions
- Ability to maintain superior customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform required knowledge, skills, and abilities through education, training, or experience
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas, floors by vacuuming or washing, trash removal, and dusting/polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards, even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies on housekeeping cart
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
