Job Requirements

Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly
Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment abilities
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Willingness to maintain superior customer service
Flexibility to work flexible schedules
Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces

Job Qualifications

Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities

Job Duties

Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing furnishings
Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assigned area
Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping supplies
Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
