Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment abilities
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Willingness to maintain superior customer service
- Flexibility to work flexible schedules
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuuming or washing floors, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assigned area
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
