Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform routine cleaning tasks efficiently
- Understanding of proper use of disinfectants and cleaning equipment
- Commitment to safety and hospital protocols
- Ability to interact positively with patients, visitors, and staff
- Six months related experience preferred

- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six months related experience preferred
- Ability to learn and follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Familiarity with safety protocols involving biohazardous material
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provide routine cleaning and decluttering to appropriate areas of the hospital - dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash
- Sanitize appropriate areas of the hospital using approved tools and routines which may vary by location
- Restock supplies as needed in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms
- Learn and follow proper techniques for disposal of all medical waste, including biological or biohazard waste such as bodily fluids or sharp implements
- Remain patient, kind and personable in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff
