Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 to 2 years housekeeping experience
ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
requires repetitive movement and/or bending, twisting
able to lift up to 40 lbs
able to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls
able to communicate with team members
able to work in small spaces and at higher levels
may be exposed to chemicals in performing general duties
requires work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 to 2 years housekeeping experience
ability to follow safety procedures for chemical and equipment use
strong attention to detail
good communication skills
physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks

Job Duties

Services, cleans and restocks supplies in restrooms
gathers and empties trash
cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming
follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
mixes cleaning solutions according to specifications
strips, seals, finishes and polishes floors as needed
notifies maintenance manager concerning the need for repairs
requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
cleans windows, glass partitions and mirrors as needed
steam-cleans or shampoos carpets and remove stains
cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
dusts furniture, walls, machines and equipment as needed
performs additional duties as assigned
