Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, and climbing
  • Able to prioritize work assignments
  • Able to understand and communicate basic English
  • Consistent attendance as required by company standards
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as verified by E-Verify

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED preferred
  • Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures
  • Understanding of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
  • Familiarity with equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
  • Ability to understand and speak some English
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments
  • Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, fresh linens and guest supplies
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and removing linen and trash
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and other guest amenities as needed
  • Clean other designated areas including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and meeting rooms
  • Ensure all hotel property is in working order and report any missing articles or damage
  • Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner
  • Log and turn in all guest property left behind
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and the day’s tasks
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses and moving furniture
  • Perform guest turn down service as needed
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Complete rooms and assigned tasks within allotted minutes per room
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
