Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks such as crouching, kneeling, and climbing
- Able to prioritize work assignments
- Able to understand and communicate basic English
- Consistent attendance as required by company standards
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as verified by E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Previous hospitality housekeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations and procedures
- Understanding of proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Familiarity with equipment such as vacuums, commercial washers and dryers
- Ability to understand and speak some English
- Ability to prioritize work assignments
- Demonstrate genuine care for customers and employees
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, fresh linens and guest supplies
- Clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and removing linen and trash
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and other guest amenities as needed
- Clean other designated areas including restrooms, public spaces, offices, and meeting rooms
- Ensure all hotel property is in working order and report any missing articles or damage
- Respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner
- Log and turn in all guest property left behind
- Attend pre-shift meetings to learn assignments and the day’s tasks
- Perform deep cleaning tasks such as flipping mattresses and moving furniture
- Perform guest turn down service as needed
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Complete rooms and assigned tasks within allotted minutes per room
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
