Job Requirements

  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Ability to work second shift from 3:00p to 11:30p
  • Willingness to rotate shifts to cover weekends
  • Adherence to hospital cleaning and disinfecting policies
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning tasks involving blood and bodily fluids
  • Commitment to promoting hygienic conditions
  • Ability to follow written procedures and apply training consistently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior hospital housekeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of hospital cleaning and disinfection procedures
  • Familiarity with CDC AHE and APIC guidelines
  • Ability to handle cleaning tasks safely including exposure to blood and bodily fluids
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work second shift hours

Job Duties

  • Provide clean sanitary comfortable orderly and satisfying surroundings for patients employees and public
  • Promote hygienic conditions preventing spread of infection and odors
  • Follow required hospital cleaning and disinfecting policies and procedures
  • Apply educational training based on CDC AHE and APIC standards
  • Perform cleaning tasks that may involve exposure to visible blood and bodily fluids
  • Rotate shifts to cover weekends
  • Maintain odor-free and safe hospital environment
