Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 to 2 years housekeeping experience
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
Requires repetitive movement and or bending twisting
Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Able to use hands to handle control or feel objects tools or controls
Able to communicate with team members
Able to work in small spaces and at higher levels
May be exposed to chemicals in performing general duties
Requires work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
Ability to work varied hours days including nights weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

Services cleans and restocks supplies in restrooms
Gather and empty trash
Clean building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment mix cleaning solutions according to specifications
Strip seal finish and polish floors as needed
Notify maintenance manager concerning the need for repairs
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors as needed
Steam-clean or shampoo carpets and remove stains
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
Dust furniture walls machines and equipment as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
