Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability for flexible scheduling
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to work indoors with carpeted and hard surfaces
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including bath and kitchen areas
  • Clean floors by vacuuming or washing
  • Remove all trash from guest rooms
  • Dust and polish guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and remove trash from outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company cleanliness standards
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety/security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
