Job Requirements
- minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- knowledge of standard housekeeping and laundry procedures
- education equivalent to high school diploma
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment
- ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
- ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- ability to work flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- education equivalent to high school diploma
- any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash, dusting and polishing furnishings
- maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing outside trash
- ensure all areas of hotel meet company cleanliness standards even if not assigned
- visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
- notify supervisor of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies
- notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
