Job Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
  • occasional climbing
  • must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • primary work hours are 8hr shifts, w/30 min required lunch, Monday-Friday
  • must be able to stay late or work OT as required unless pre-approved by your Manager

  • ability to work in a team environment
  • 1 year of experience in housekeeping (strongly preferred)
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Receives assignments from the manager and prioritizes requests
  • stocks and maintains housekeeping supplies to ensure you have what you need for each coach bus readily available
  • replenishes toiletries as needed
  • removes soiled linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from each assigned room/bunk and provides fresh replacements
  • neatly makes beds and stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to policies
  • cleans and disinfects bathrooms, showers, counter-tops, bunks and sinks
  • dusts, polishes and wipes all surfaces and cleans mirrors
  • sweeps, mops, vacuums floors and removes trash
  • ensures laundry is washed, dried and folded
  • dispose of trash and replace liners
  • clean and disinfect inside drawers and cabinets
  • clean out and disinfect the refrigerator, freezer and microwave including inside the door seals
  • verify that everything functions properly and notifies the maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs such as changing light bulbs, and safety concerns
  • turns in found/left-behind items to the Manager
  • maintains a professional demeanor while communicating with other employees
  • assist in training new hires
  • drive a golf cart and/or van on company premises
