Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Good physical condition to perform bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling
- Ability to perform close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to work indoors on both hard and carpeted surfaces
- Flexibility to work full or part-time shifts with no late shifts and Sundays off
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for eight-hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and report concerns promptly
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including all bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, and dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
