Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
  • Any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if the area is not specifically assigned
  • Conduct visual inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
