Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum one year housekeeping experience preferred
basic knowledge or willingness to learn cleaning standards and safety
availability to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with some occasional evenings or weekends
ability to lift and handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
ability to travel between facilities as required
pass background check, drug screening, and social media screening
willingness to comply with company policies including substance-free environment and non-discrimination policy
ability to obtain necessary security clearance if required

Job Qualifications

Minimum one year housekeeping experience in the field of hospitality preferred
Spanish/English bi-lingual skills a plus
general knowledge of cleaning terms and safety procedures related to hazardous chemicals or willingness to obtain these skills
willingness to learn use of mechanical cleaning equipment
ability to obtain security clearance if needed
highly organized and meticulous
effective communication skills
ability to work independently and in a team
ability to work under pressure with flexibility
high reliability, productivity, and efficiency
strong integrity and confidentiality
ability to safely work on ladders up to 8 ft

Job Duties

Maintain interval cleaning as guided by supervisor and document work progress in the company CMMS
follow all standard operating procedures as established by the Executive Director and supervisor
responsible for implementation and completion of major finite projects within a specific time frame
actively participate in maintaining elements of the physical space as guided by a supervisor
perform various miscellaneous duties and obligations as assigned
plan, schedule, and perform cleaning services based on workload
ensure building and assigned areas are compliant with cleaning programs
evaluate and make recommendations for equipment, changes in cleaning methods, and work performance standards
clean restrooms, floors, fixtures, mirrors and replenish restroom supplies
dispose of trash
maintain hallways, stairways, lounges, storage areas, entrances, and offices through cleaning, vacuuming, and wet mopping
perform housekeeping duties at private residences including shopping, laundry, and animal care
perform special projects related to various aspects at the direction of supervisor
travel as assigned
perform other duties as assigned
