Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts
  • Willingness to work in indoor environments with hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Capability to perform physical activities like stooping, kneeling, climbing, and balancing
  • Ability to meet vision requirements including close, distance and peripheral vision
  • Commitment to maintain company cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to provide superior customer service and maintain professionalism
  • Capable of operating cleaning equipment and handling cleaning supplies responsibly
  • Good observational skills for inspecting cleanliness and reporting issues

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, clean floors by vacuuming or washing, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from outside areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards regardless of assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas and service areas for cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
