Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to provide effective housekeeping and laundry services
- desire to work with seniors
- compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- ability to use personal protective equipment
- good communication skills

- willingness to participate in training and comply with regulations
- physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- negative drug test required
- vaccination compliance as mandated by law

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing fixtures, and polishing surfaces
- knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering to respect privacy
- maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- collect and remove trash maintaining cleanliness
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, and dry linens following proper procedures
- fold, count, and stack linens
- inspect linens for wear and tear and follow procedures for damaged items
- assist care managers and department coordinators with resident care as requested
- respond to resident requests and feedback following Sunrise Shared Values
- comply with safety procedures including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment
- participate in team meetings and training programs
- maintain compliance with all required training and regulations
- perform other duties as assigned
