Job Requirements
- Minimum high school education
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and reach upwards
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Tolerance to exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to tolerate prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must wear uniform and nametag
- Must follow policies and emergency procedures of the hotel
- Must maintain personal cleanliness

Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school education
- Prior housekeeping or hotel experience preferred
- Prior knowledge of operating laundry room dryers and washers desired but not required
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and reach upwards
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Tolerance to exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to tolerate prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers
- Experience working with cleaning chemicals and operating vacuum cleaners or brooms
Job Duties
- Have a good understanding of all of the hotel's operating procedures
- Be knowledgeable of room types and standards for supplies
- Check the general condition of the room and notify the Housekeeping Supervisor of any malfunction or damage
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, replenish supplies and amenities, inspect and report rooms ready for sale to the front desk all in accordance with the hotel’s training and standards
- Dust and clean all furnishings in guest room including the television, desk, desk chair, desk lamp/shade, air conditioner unit, headboards, nightstand, wall picture, wall lamp/shade and window ledge
- Maintain cleaning supplies and the cleaning cart in safe, organized and presentable fashion
- Ensure prompt and systematic servicing of all guest requests
- Handle guest complaints effectively
- Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly and helpful to guests, managers and all other associates
- Work as a team member
- Organize and thoroughly prepare bedrooms in the specified length of time whilst respecting internal hotel procedures
- Obtain approval for no service rooms by inspector or front desk
- Wear uniform and nametag
- Follow all policies and emergency procedures of the hotel
- Maintain discretion by not disturbing guests
- Perform laundry and public area cleaning
- Maintain personal cleanliness
- Be willing to work flexible hours
- Embrace the mission, values, and vision of the company
- Conduct deep cleaning when assigned
- Be available on weekends
- Perform other duties as designated
