Job Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
No prior experience required
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Prior hospitality experience preferred
Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and standards
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Duties

Cleans guest room and bathroom including bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using proper procedures and chemicals per hotel standards
Change linen and make beds in accordance with hotel procedures
Dust all guest room surfaces including furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves
Vacuum guest room carpets in accordance with hotel procedures
Remove trash and replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms per hotel procedures
Clean all windows inside and out
Greet guests immediately with friendly, sincere acknowledgement
Report all maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors via work orders
Sign for room keys, retrieve cart, push to assigned rooms, and restock heavy cart
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion
Clean balconies, if applicable
Perform other duties as assigned
