Job Requirements

  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and understand instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching pushing pulling bending stooping twisting and carrying
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred for this position
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to read understand interpret and carry out directions and instructions
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Work independently and make sound responsible decisions
  • May be working alone or as a team as needed
  • Must be able to walk and stand at least 95 percent of the shift
  • Must be able to reach push pull bend stoop twist and carry
  • Must be able to use hands to grasp hold and use for manual activities
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
  • Must have good organization skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision
  • Must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude

Job Duties

  • Clean guests rooms daily ensuring all areas are completed in the designated timeframe
  • Ensure that all guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Provide thoughtful touches to enhance the guest experience such as arranging personal items closing curtains and placing bedside mats
  • Work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guest preferences and special requests are met
