Job Requirements
- High-school graduate or equivalent
- minimum six months work-related experience preferably in hospitality or janitorial services
- ability to follow directions and work in fast-paced environment
- ability to attend additional required training
- flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends
- good written and oral communication skills
- ability to listen attentively
- physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- adherence to grooming and appearance standards
- dependability
Job Qualifications
- High-school graduate or equivalent
- minimum six months of relevant work experience preferably in hospitality or janitorial services
- excellent customer service skills
- previous hospitality industry experience preferred
- prior experience as housekeeper, room attendant, or janitorial services preferred
- good written and oral communication skills
- ability to listen attentively
- ability to express compassion while remaining calm under pressure
- ability to promote property positively and respectfully embrace diversity
Job Duties
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
- anticipate guests needs and answer questions related to their stay
- respond promptly to guest inquiries
- be familiar with property location, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests
- resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
- complete all required brand-specific and health and safety training
- adhere to property brand standards and fire safety procedures
- prepare guest rooms for cleaning according to hotel standards including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and restocking amenities
- disinfect telephones daily
- realign furniture and secure room when finished
- clean and restock supply cart at end of shifts
- update and submit room assignment sheets
- follow lost and found policy and report any items found to Executive Housekeeper
- perform any other tasks necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
